
(Seoul, South Korea): On the morning of Thursday, May 16, 2024, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, His Excellency Hun Manet, laid a wreath and paid tribute to the Korean soldiers who lost their lives on the battlefield. The memorial service was held at Memorial Tower, a place commemorating the heroism of Korean warriors who sacrificed their lives for the national cause during the war.

On that occasion, after laying a wreath, the Prime Minister saluted the Korean War veteran. Following this, Samdech Thipadei wrote a message of respect and reflection in the Golden Book, expressing his deep admiration for the sacrifices made by the Korean soldiers.
It should be noted that Samdech President Hun Manet and Lok Chumteav Dr. Pech Chanmony Hun Manet are leading a delegation to pay an official visit to South Korea. This visit lasts for 4 days and is a visit that shows the position of the new government of the new legislature to continue to deepen the relations and cooperation between Cambodia and South Korea better.
During their stay, the Cambodian delegation is expected to engage in high-level meetings with South Korean officials, aiming to strengthen diplomatic ties, enhance economic cooperation, and explore new avenues for bilateral partnership. This visit also includes discussions on regional security, trade agreements, and cultural exchanges, reflecting the commitment of both nations to bolster their strategic alliance in the evolving geopolitical landscape.
